The Brazilian coastline is about 8,000 kilometres long, and there is still

They begin in childhood diving into rivers, streams, brooks, lakes, lagoons, pools and of course the sea itself. Dives disappearing into the shallows or the deeps, made by pleasure seekers or professionals, perfecting techniques, with or without specialized equipment, Brazilians are at one with water. As if diving was a form of breaking barriers, forcing adaptation and evolution.

The Marinho de Abrolhos national park in the south of the state of Bahia, shelters the most extensive coral reefs in Brazil, and is one of the rarest in the entire world. The archipelago of 5 volcanic islands is surrounded by seas which have one of the greatest concentrations and varieties of fish per square metre on the planet. Between August and November Abrolhos is visited by Real whales who make their presence known by their aerial acrobatics and their songs. A rare species of whale, they can measure up to 15 metres and weigh up to 30 tonnes.
